NIDDK participates in a variety of budget and legislative activities. Several of these activities are outlined below.
NIDDK submits a Congressional Justification annually in support of the President's Budget Request. This document supports the President's request by detailing NIDDK's mission, research priorities, and budgetary activities for the upcoming fiscal year.
