| A limited number of sleeping rooms for conference participants has been reserved for the NIH/NIDDK Roadmap Workshop at the host hotel, Hyatt Regency Bethesda. The rate is $166.00 per night for single and double occupancy plus tax (12.6875%).

| To receive this reduced rate, please call Hyatt reservations at 1.800.233.1234 or 301.657.1234, and indicate that you are requesting a room for the NIH/NIDDK Roadmap Workshop when making your reservation. Reservation must be made by no later than Wednesda, November 23, 2005, and must be secured with a major credit card. Please be certain that the hotel provides you with a confirmation number for your reservation. After November 23, 2005, the official room block will be released and the hotel may charge significantly higher rates and may be sold out. When making a reservation, please provide room and bedding preferences. The hotel will assign specific room types on check-in, based upon availability. Please be advised that requests are not guarenteed. Check-in time is at 3:00pm and check-out time is at 12:00 noon. |

| The Metro System is clean, reliable, and safe. It opens 5 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends. It closes at midnight Sunday through Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday through Saturday. Each passenger must buy a farecard to travel the system. Guides for purchasing farecards are posted on the vending mechines in each station. Each Metro care features a complete color-coded map. Station attendants on duty at each station can provide additional information on request. |

| From airport terminals B and C, take the pedestrian bridge to the metro's Reagan National Airport station locted on the Yellow and Blue lines. Take a Yellow line train to Gallery Place or take a Blue line train to Metro Center and transfer to the Red line. On the Red line, take a train toward Shady Grove to the Medical Center station. |

| You are strongly encouraged to take public transportation to NIH, as visitor parking on the NIH campus is extremely limited. If you must drive, there are only a limited number of visitor spaces available. Visitor parking fees are $2 per hour or $12 per day. Please plan accordingly. |

Take the Dulles Access Road for approximately 13 miles to Exit 18. Move to the right on the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267); get off at Exit 18. Stay to the left on the ramp for Bethesda/Baltimore and proceed toward Bethesda on I-495 (Capital Beltway) for approximately 9 miles. At the I-495/I-270 split, stay to the right on I-495.
