NIDDK Funding Opportunity

R43/R44 Small Business Innovation Research Grants (SBIR)

NIAID SBIR - Technology Transfer Direct Phase II (SBIR-TT) (R44)

The goal of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to move commercially-viable diagnostic inventions from NIAID and NIDDK intramural research laboratories into the marketplace. This FOA solicits Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant applications from Small Business Concerns (SBCs) for projects that further develop and commercialize such inventions. The Direct-to-Phase II grant mechanism is intended to facilitate SBIR-type R&D, to expand R&D opportunities for applicant SBCs, and to enhance the pace of technology development and commercialization.
