The Annual NIDDK Scientific Conference is a two-day research and career development event designed to bring together fellows and scientists from NIDDK's Intramural Research Program (IRP). The goal of the meeting is to encourage the cross-fertilization of ideas, foster new collaborations, and promote a sense of community among NIDDK researchers.

Deadline for registration and abstracts will be March 10, 2017. You can register first at http://conferences.niddk.nih.gov/scientific and submit your abstract later. The registration form will only display if you are inside the NIH network.
All NIDDK fellows and scientific staff are encouraged to attend.
Fellow Abstract Submission
Fellows attending the conference must submit a research abstract. New fellows who have been with NIDDK for six months or less are encouraged, but not required, to submit an abstract. Submission instructions have been provided on the registration form.
A PDF compendium of abstracts will be provided to all registered participants at the beginning of the conference and to incoming fellows.

Special Opportunities for Fellows
Oral and Poster Presentations
Fellows can share their research findings and compete for one of eight available travel awards. Four travel awards will be given for the best oral and four for the best poster presentation.
Career Development Session
Panelists in various career stages will discuss scientific career development, both at and away from the bench. A list of panelists will be available soon.
