Meeting Objectives

This NIH sponsored Urology Developmental Centers Directors' Meeting is scheduled to be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Bethesda, MD, on January 28-29, 2013. The purpose of this meeting is key to improving the research capacity of the urology research community and in promoting evidence-based translational studies is a robust research community that can draw upon expertise beyond the traditional field of urology. The P20 Developmental Centers for Interdisciplinary Research in Benign Urology program supports studies that take an integrative approach towards addressing problems in benign urology. The Centers meeting is a critical component in building a viable research community and is part of the strategy to build a critical mass within the urologic research community. The Non-Federal participants attending this workshop will be performing a direct service to the meeting by making a presentation, advising in an area of expertise, or participating in the general session.
