Executive Summary
The purpose of this program is to continue to support nationally accessible centers that provide core services or programs of relevance to the NIDDK research communities focusing on metabolism, diabetes, nutrition and obesity. These Center programs include the Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Centers (MMPC) Consortium, the Center for Engagement in Diabetes Research (CEDER) program, and the Nutrition Obesity Research Centers Research Resource Center (RRC). These Centers are designed to improve rigor, reproducibility, efficiency, coordination, outreach, career development, and/or access to advanced capabilities for researchers across NIDDK research community. Applications may include an optional Pilot and Feasibility Program when justified by programmatic need.
