Meeting Objectives
The overarching goal of the workshop is to identify potential behavioral mechanisms relevant to obesity (determinants of intake, physical activity, and sedentary behavior).
The workshop will focus on basic behavioral science, at the individual level, in three scientific areas:
- Impulsivity and Executive Function
- Memory and Reward, and
- Stress and Self-regulation
The goal is to highlight scientific opportunities and gaps in knowledge, particularly focused on research with clear implications for translation into human intervention.
